Merry Christmas to Marnita from Mardie!

Marnita, I loved making your Christmas tree! I hope you like it.

I can't wait to see the rest of your collection!

(I like the back as well as the front!)

I used bing translate to read your text. Yes, it is pretty on both sides.

Elizabeth helped me change it to readable text! It is the weirdest thing! And when I opened the window, it looked totally normal. Elizabeth said it was gibberish on her end. I have no idea what happened. The screen was possessed I guess.

Mardie, I'm not doing one for Marnita, after seeing yours. Yours is awesome. Are all the sections appliqued at the same time or seperately? I'd like to know how you did it, cause your pattern is similar to the one I'm "suppose" to do.

Llewellyn, You can do this. It was fun!

I used regular craft glue to "set" each section (faster than ironing on heat n bond or something like that, and all you are doing is keeping it in place while you sew around it), then zig zagged around each one. You can kind of see that on the back side that I showed. If I knew that it was going to overlap, I maybe skipped some stitching at the center of the tree, but not much and not every time. Mostly I went around the whole section. I started by drawing a line up the center to stay on track. Then I did the "skirt" at the bottom and built by 4's going up. Does that help? I stitched with a smaller, tighter zig zag because the sections were small.

Hope that helps. Let me know if I can do more!

Mardie, this is great! I love how quickly you get your block done! It motivates me to get my thoughts down to fabric!
