If At First You Don't Succeed.....

Here is my Black and White Square for Llewellyn.  I had planned this new interlocking pattern...didn't quite work out.  I think I need a little more sewing experience before I tackle that again.

Here is the square that made the cut:

I did expand my repertoire of stitches.  I can now sew a straight stitch, blanket stitch, and a zig zag! I'm so excited to learn more.

This is wonderful! It's like how the "other group" made their rainbow squares. Very nice. And congratulations on your growing repertoire of stitches.

Why thank you Mardie. I am a little proud of myself for learning a new stitch.

Marnita, I'm sorry you have had to worry over this square. I do love this one, but I'm sure the other one would have been just fine. xo

Trust me, the other one bombed. Even Connie was at a loss of nice things to say about it. I was happy to do the other technique. I have been wanting to do this mosaic look for some time now. This gave me the nudge I needed.
