Here is a pic of my mom working on this block. She just started sewing the petals together when I stepped into the kitchen to do my dishes. When I came out, she had them assembled and was ready to sew her plate down.

Did you use a machine blanket stitch or by hand?
Thank you! We both used a machine blanket stitch. They were still slightly different stitches. My mom wished half way through that she would have stitched it by hand. I was happy to let my brother do it. :)
Hmmm, it's just occured to me. Was I supposed to wait for further info before choosing a center and sewing it down??
Love your pieces. I am working on mine. I am just getting ready to start sewing them together to make the plate.
